Real Estate Minor

The minor in real estate is designed to offer a basic understanding of real estate topics for students who are not enrolled in the School of Business or intending to pursue a business degree.

**This minor is open to all students, regardless of enrollment in the School of Business or not.**

Coursework

To receive the Real Estate minor, a student must complete four 3-credit, 3000-level courses to total 12 credits. 

Required Course (3 credits)

Select one of the following:

  • FNCE 3230: Real Estate Principles
  • **BADM 3730/FNCE 3101: Financial Management

Additional Courses (9 credits total)

Select three of the following:

  • FNCE 3230: Real Estate Principles

  • FNCE 3332: Real Estate Investments
  • FNCE 3333: Real Estate Finance
  • FNCE 3334: Real Estate Markets and Valuation
  • FNCE 3335: Commercial Real Estate Appraisal
  • FNCE 3336: Real Estate: A Practical Approach
  • BLAW 3274: Real Estate Law
  • ECON 3439: Urban and Regional Economics

**BADM 3730 is for Non-Business major students while FNCE 3101 is for students in the School of Business. They are the same course.**
