Finance Intern CT Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Rocky Hill, CT - 12-week paid internship that offers $17-$18/hour up to 37.5 hours per week from May - August

- Review property reporting packages and evaluate variances and trends
- Assist in the due diligence of potential acquisitions including expense analysis, lease review, and underwriting assumptions and modeling review
- Assist in managing properties that are either wholly owned or owned through joint ventures

Undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates. In areas of study of real estate, urban planning, public policy, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, information technology, and law.

- Exhibits a strong interest in affordable housing, fair housing, and homelessness issues.
- Displays strong organizational skills.
- Has ability to multitask; and
- Demonstrates openness to working with multiple teams throughout the department.

CHFA Intership
Homeownership Intern CT Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Rocky Hill, CT - 12-week paid internship that offers $17-$18/hour up to 37.5 hours per week from May - August

- Experience our organization and contribute to our mission.
- Collaborate with multiple staff whose responsibilities vary.
- Perform meaningful tasks to support each unit within Homeownership.
- Connect with a CHFA staff member on a weekly basis.
- Develop an understanding of important programs.
- Participate in study halls which discuss important topics in affordable housing.
- Assist with outreach efforts and events.
- Get a glimpse into career opportunities within the affordable housing sector.

Undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates. In areas of study of real estate, urban planning, public policy, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, data analytics, computer science, law, and architecture.

CHFA Internship
Multifamily Intern CT Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Rocky Hill, CT - 12-week paid internship that offers $17-$18/hour up to 37.5 hours per week from May - August

- Experience our organization and contribute to our mission.
- Collaborate with multiple staff whose responsibilities vary.
- Perform meaningful tasks to support each unit within Multifamily.
- Connect with a CHFA staff member on a weekly basis.
- Develop an understanding of important programs such as the LIHTC and HTCC tax credit programs.
- Learn what it means to underwrite a loan, mitigate risk during construction, and monitor a development once it is placed in service.
- Understand the level of collaboration it takes to make a deal successful.
- Participate in study halls which discuss important topics in affordable housing.
- Interact with leaders both within and outside Multifamily; and
- Get a glimpse into career opportunities within the affordable housing sector.

- Enrolled in a college degree program at an accredited institution
- Have completed junior year of college
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
